high heels without hesitation! Love how fearless these kids are :) 12/16/2017

It's official, these students have both the smarts and the looks!! 12/04/17

HAPPINESS (FALL 2017)

Joey Murdock made this fun little video clip for their #iamscience talk. What can I say? My students know how to keep me happy :)

ROADTRIP (FALL 2017)

Utilizing fall break, team members Desiree Reding, Joey Murdock and I traveled down to the Mayo Clinic to tour their histology lab and had a very productive meeting with our collaborators!

Just need to bribe these kids with Caribou and they are willing to give up their fall break!!

10/13/2017

LETS GET CRACKIN (FALL 2017)

The tissue engineering team bought 4 dozens of eggs to test their egg cracking skill for the project and then used the eggs to make pancakes for our students.

Doing experiment a lot of times is like following the recipe in making pancakes. This team made some mean pancakes, I'm hoping that's somewhat of a predictor of their research skills?

HARDEST THING (SPRING 2017)

During weekends or off hours students can only get into the science building with security's help. Most of the time that seems like the hardest part :P

INSPIRE (SUMMER 2016)

I am so fortunate to have known and worked with many inspiring women in STEM! All my collaborators early on were strong women in STEM that I modeled after: Dr. Yuiwhei Chen-Yang, Dr.Vivian Feng, Dr. Linda Hasadsri & Dr. Jane Wang.
